I'm planning a trip specifically for the fireworks display at Casino del Sol next month, and I'm overwhelmed by where to even start looking for good spots. Does anyone have experience with the crowd flow? I'm trying to figure out if the beach area is better than the promenade, or if there's a specific elevated viewpoint that gives a great panorama. Also, are there any recommended times to arrive to secure a good spot without getting caught in the early rush? Any advice on parking or getting there easily would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Definitely the promenade. You get a better angle of the whole bay, and the crowd flow is manageable if you walk towards the main plaza area.

I recommend getting there at least two hours early. If you wait until the last minute, you'll be fighting for space and won't get a good view anyway. Parking is a nightmare, so consider taking a taxi or public transport.

The beach is beautiful, but it's too crowded and the view is often blocked by people setting up chairs. Try finding a spot on the upper walkway near the old lighthouse; it gives a fantastic panorama and is less congested.

Totally agree about the early arrival. I went last year and arrived 45 minutes late. We were standing shoulder to shoulder with people who were already settled in. Seriously, plan for a big buffer time.

Has anyone considered the rooftop bar on the corner? It's elevated and usually has a reserved viewing area. It costs extra, but the view is unmatched. Worth it for a special occasion.

I disagree that the promenade is best. While it's central, the view is often obstructed by the vendor stalls and the main walkway itself. You need elevation to see the full scope of the show.

Parking is impossible. Seriously, park three blocks away and walk. It's easier and you save time dealing with traffic snarls near the casino. Just walk and enjoy the pre-show atmosphere!

The elevated viewpoint near the old clock tower was perfect for us. We could see the fireworks start, peak, and fade without being in the immediate crowd chaos. Just walk up the side streets until you find it.

If you go to the beach, bring a blanket and a portable speaker. It makes the wait much more enjoyable, even if the view is a little compromised by the crowd.

To reply to the previous post: I think the rooftop bar is a great idea, but it's also super expensive. Maybe just aim for the public viewing platform near the main pier instead? It's free and gives a similar height advantage without the huge price tag.
