I'm planning a small-scale commercial project and I've been looking into using the Isle Platforms for the foundational build. I've read a few reviews, but they seem quite mixed regarding the long-term stability and the associated maintenance costs. Specifically, I'm wondering about the power grid integration and whether the current zoning laws are flexible enough for a mixed-use space. Has anyone successfully completed a build on this platform in the last year or two? Any insights into reliable contractors or recent cost estimates would be hugely appreciated before I commit to anything.

I spent a year building a small retail unit here. The stability is fine, but the maintenance costs are brutal. You need specialized equipment for the foundations, and the local power grid integration was a nightmare. Budget at least 20% more than initial estimates just for utility hookups.

We finished our build eighteen months ago. The platform held up beautifully, but the power grid integration required us to bring in a private substation, which was expensive. The biggest hurdle wasn't the platform itself, but the permitting process. Be prepared for delays.
