I'm looking into upgrading some of the convenience services around my house, and a friend recommended Pearl Convenience. I'm specifically interested in their plumbing and electrical work, as I've had a few minor issues lately. Has anyone here used their services before? I'm trying to gauge the quality of their workmanship and if they are reliable with scheduling. Also, are they competitive on pricing compared to local contractors? Any reviews on their customer service would be hugely appreciated before I commit to them.

Short answer: Yes. They are reliable for scheduling, but be prepared to haggle on the final price.

I had them do some electrical upgrades. The workmanship was solid, no visible signs of poor quality. They were punctual too. However, I found their initial estimate was quite high compared to two other local contractors I got quotes from. I recommend getting at least three quotes before committing.

Don't trust them. Their customer service was abysmal when I called about a billing error. Very frustrating.

Did you ask about their warranty coverage? That's usually the most important part of any major home service, especially plumbing. I found their warranty details were vague and required follow-up calls to clarify. It made me nervous.

They were great. The electrician was knowledgeable and explained every step of the process. They even offered a maintenance plan which I think is smart. I wouldn't use anyone else now.

I'd say they are a solid mid-range option. Don't expect luxury service, but expect competent work that gets the job done without unnecessary drama or upselling.

Just call them and ask for a quote on a standard circuit breaker replacement. That's usually a good baseline price to compare against other companies.
