Hi everyone, I'm looking into getting some work done near the Bristol area and keep seeing mentions of Cosmo Bristol. I'm specifically interested in their [hypothetical service, e.g., electrical work/cosmetic treatments/IT setup]. Has anyone had a positive experience with them recently? I'm trying to avoid any unreliable tradespeople and want to know if their quality is worth the hype. Any detailed feedback on their pricing or customer service would be hugely appreciated before I book anything in.

I used them for an electrical rewire last year. Honestly, they were fantastic. Very professional, clean job, and they finished ahead of schedule. Highly recommend if you're in the Bristol area.

Short answer: Yes. Good service. Pricing was fair.

Be careful, guys. I had a terrible experience. The initial quote was great, but they kept adding charges as they went along. I felt completely misled about the final cost. I ended up going with a local independent electrician instead. Save your money and look elsewhere.

I had a minor circuit update done. The guys were polite and knowledgeable. Customer service was solid, and they explained everything clearly before they started. A really positive experience overall.

Does anyone know if they handle smart home setups specifically? I need a few lights and maybe a security camera system installed. I'm worried about compatibility issues.

>> @User123 I agree with your assessment. I found their communication lacking. They were difficult to reach, and when I finally got them on the phone, they sounded rushed and uninterested in my specific needs. It was frustrating.

They are okay. Nothing spectacular. I got a quote, and it was competitive, but I wouldn't rush to book them. I'd probably get three quotes and compare apples to apples.

Just got my sockets updated. Quick, clean, and the crew was respectful of my home. Five stars for reliability. They didn't mess around and got the job done right the first time.

Has anyone dealt with them regarding old wiring in a period property? I'm worried about the historical constraints and if they have the specific expertise required for that kind of work. That's my main concern.

I think the hype is a bit much. They are expensive. I paid almost double what a local small business charged me for the exact same job. I found the quality difference negligible.

>> @User456 I had a similar concern about period properties. They seemed a little overwhelmed by the complexity, and I felt like they were more interested in upselling expensive modern tech rather than solving the core electrical issue.

Honestly, they were brilliant. The team showed up exactly when they said they would, which is huge for me. They were meticulous about tidiness too. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Pricing is a nightmare. They are very vague about the cost until you are standing there looking at the mess. I recommend getting a detailed, written breakdown of every single component before they touch anything.

I wouldn't recommend them for anything critical. Their response time for follow-up questions was terrible. It felt like an afterthought service rather than a partnership.

I'm going to wait until I can find a few more reviews specific to commercial wiring. Residential seems fine, but I need to know about larger installations.

They were fine. Nothing to rave about, nothing to complain about. Standard trade service. Just book them if you need it done, but don't expect miracles.

I used them for a simple switch replacement. It took less than an hour. Super efficient. Perfect for a quick job when you need it done fast and professionally.
