I'm finally ready to pull the trigger on the new X-Treme SUV, but I'm having trouble finding the latest promotional discount. I remember seeing mentions of an 'ignition bonus code' on a dealer forum a few months ago, but I'm not sure if it's still valid. Has anyone recently purchased this model and managed to use a bonus code? I'd really appreciate any links or tips on where I can find the most up-to-date information. I don't want to waste my time driving out if the offer has expired.

Check the manufacturer's official website first. Codes change constantly.

I just bought it last month. They didn't use a code; it was a bundled financing deal. You need to talk to a specific sales rep, not just look for a general code. They might offer something private.

Man, I wish I knew this already. I've been looking everywhere. My friend who bought one said they got a $1500 rebate, but he said it was only available through a specific dealer network, not a general code. You might have better luck asking around local enthusiast groups instead of general forums. They often have insider info on current deals. I'd recommend calling three different dealerships and asking them to match the best deal they find, even if it's from a competitor. It's a long shot, but it's worth the effort. Good luck with the purchase!

Dealer X is running a special right now. Call them.

Did you check if the bonus applies only to specific trim levels? That's usually the catch.

Reply to the user who mentioned Dealer X. I heard that dealer is notorious for misleading pricing. Be careful.

I found a thread from 2023 that mentioned a code, but the user said it was only valid for the base model, not the X-Treme trim. It's probably outdated.

Honestly, just negotiate the price down directly. Don't rely on codes. It gives you more leverage.

I think the best bet is to wait for a major holiday sale. The dealer tends to drop their pricing significantly around Memorial Day or Labor Day. Keep an eye on the local classifieds for announcements.

Why do you think the codes are so hard to find? The manufacturer usually posts the active promotions on their homepage banner. You might just be looking in the wrong place.

My experience was that the best 'bonus' was just getting them to throw in the full paint protection package, which was usually a $800 add-on. It wasn't a code, but it saved me a ton of money. Ask for extras instead of discounts.

I talked to my local dealer manager, and he told me that all current incentives are tied to trade-ins, not general codes. If you have an old vehicle, that's your best angle.

Seriously, check the local newspaper's classified section or the dealership's physical bulletin board. Sometimes they post temporary, local-only codes that never make it online. It's old school, but it works.
