I'm trying to play Lethal Company with my friends, but it seems like the school's network has some serious filters in place. Every time we try to connect, we get an error message saying the site or service is restricted. I've already tried using a few different VPNs, but they all seem to get flagged or just don't work reliably. Has anyone successfully bypassed these types of network restrictions before? Any tips on specific proxies or workarounds would be hugely appreciated so we can finally play without getting caught.

Dude, you probably shouldn't even try this. School networks are monitored, and getting caught could lead to serious trouble, not to mention getting banned from the school's Wi-Fi entirely.

VPNs are usually the first thing administrators block. You might have better luck using a specific type of proxy that disguises your traffic as standard web browsing, like accessing it through a university library's public proxy if possible.

Try playing on mobile data instead. It's the easiest and most reliable workaround. Don't risk your school laptop for a game.

I had success using Tor Browser combined with a specific port forwarder. It's complicated, though, and you need to know exactly which ports the school usually blocks. Good luck.

Seriously, just ask a teacher or IT staff member if they can whitelist the game's domain. It's the official and safest way to go.

Wait, did you check if the restriction is on the game itself, or is it on the specific ports Lethal Company uses? Sometimes it's just a port block, not a content filter.

If the school uses a captive portal, you might need to find a way to bypass the portal entirely, maybe by connecting via a physical Ethernet cable if the port is unsecured.

I tried using a mix of different proxies, and it was a nightmare. Some worked for a few minutes, and then the connection would just drop. It's really hit or miss.

Short answer: It's nearly impossible to bypass modern network filtering without advanced knowledge of networking protocols. Maybe focus on playing when you are off campus.

I think you need to check if the network is filtering by IP address range or by specific application signature. If they are using Deep Packet Inspection (DPI), then standard VPNs won't cut it.

Replying to the user above: DPI is the key. You need something that tunnels the traffic through an encrypted layer that looks like general HTTPS traffic, not game data.

Have you tried a mesh VPN service? They sometimes have better obfuscation protocols built in that are harder for school firewalls to detect.

The simplest solution I found was connecting via a personal hotspot from a friend's phone, provided the phone has enough data allowance for all of us.

Honestly, the school network is designed to block exactly this kind of activity. Don't waste too much time on it; it's a losing battle.

If you are connecting from a dorm room or a location that is technically 'on campus' but not in a classroom, the rules might be different. Try those areas.

I recommend checking out specific services that specialize in 'circumvention' or 'obfuscated VPNs.' They are designed specifically to bypass corporate or educational firewalls.

My advice is to look into using a dedicated gaming proxy service. They are optimized for maintaining stable connections for high-bandwidth games, which might be better than general web proxies.

If you are using a Chromebook, the operating system itself might be the bottleneck, not the network. Try using a different device entirely.
