I'm trying to get my new account set up for the inclave games subscription, but I keep running into errors when I try to link my payment method. The instructions on the website are really vague, and I've already tried clearing my cache and using a different browser. Has anyone successfully connected their account recently? I'm worried I might be missing a crucial step, especially since I'm really looking forward to trying out the new RPG titles they just added. Any advice on troubleshooting this would be greatly appreciated!

Did you try using a VPN? Sometimes the payment processor flags certain IP ranges, even if the website doesn't mention it.

I had the exact same issue last month. It wasn't the browser or cache. It was a mandatory two-factor authentication step that pops up right before the payment screen, and many users miss it. Check your email for a link from inclave support.

Check your billing address first. Seriously. Even if the card is valid, if the address linked to your bank account doesn't match what inclave has on file, it will fail.

Contact support directly. Don't rely on the vague web instructions. They can check your account status and tell you if there's a known bug with the payment gateway.

I think it's a regional block. I live outside the main service area, and they require a specific type of local payment card that isn't widely available. Have you checked if your payment method is accepted in your geographical area?

Just use PayPal. Seriously. It bypasses most of the direct card linking issues I encountered. It was a lifesaver for me.

Are you trying to link a debit card or a credit card? Sometimes the error message is generic, but the failure point is specific to the card type. I had to switch from debit to credit to get it working.

Wait, @UserAlpha, when you say you cleared the cache, did you also clear the cookies? Sometimes the cookies hold old session data that conflicts with the new setup process.

My advice is to wait 24 hours. Sometimes these payment gateways reset overnight, and the error is temporary. It's frustrating, but often just patience is the answer.

I had this problem too. I spent an hour troubleshooting, only to realize I was using a VPN that was throttling my connection. Switching to a direct, stable connection fixed everything immediately. It was ridiculous.

I found that if you try the setup process on a desktop computer rather than a mobile device, the error messages are clearer and the payment portal loads differently. Give the desktop version a shot.

Re: I had this problem too. You might need to check your bank's side too. They might be flagging the transaction as suspicious because it's a new platform, and you'll need to call them to approve the charge manually.

It's definitely the payment gateway. I recommend checking if inclave has any known maintenance windows. Sometimes they take the payment system offline for updates, causing random errors.

If all else fails, try using a different payment method entirely. Sometimes the error isn't the account, but the specific card type you are using. I used a gift card balance as a workaround.

To @UserBeta: Yes, I tried the VPN and it didn't help. It seems to be something specific to the account linking itself, maybe a backend issue they need to fix. I'm going to try submitting a ticket with screenshots of the error code.

I swear they should just provide a simple, step-by-step video tutorial. This whole setup process is needlessly complicated and frustrating for new users like me.
