I've been trying to make a deposit on bwin.be for the last two days, but every time I hit the verification step, it gives me an error code. I've checked my email and phone number multiple times to make sure there are no typos. I suspect there might be a temporary issue with their payment gateway, or perhaps I'm missing some documentation they require. Has anyone successfully deposited recently? Any advice on who I should contact directly to sort this out would be greatly appreciated.

I had the exact same problem last week. They finally fixed it after I called their support line directly. Make sure you get speaking to a human, not a chatbot.

Did you try using a different payment method? Sometimes the error isn't with your account, but with the specific gateway you are trying to use. I used PayPal and it went through instantly.

Seriously, check the 'Terms and Conditions' section again. They often have specific requirements for first-time deposits or verification that are very detailed. It's usually something small, like needing proof of address that hasn't expired.

Short. Try waiting 24 hours.

I think it's a geo-location issue. If you are traveling, sometimes the IP address flags the transaction, causing the verification error. Try connecting via a VPN set to a known operational area for them.

Reply to previous post (Author): @Author's Text. I had this issue two months ago. They told me I needed to upload a photo of my debit card *and* a selfie holding the card. It was overkill, but it worked. Don't just assume it's a system glitch.

Has anyone found a workaround for the error code 403? Mine kept popping up, and I couldn't deposit anything. It was incredibly frustrating.

I agree with the payment gateway theory. I used a different bank's card and it was smooth sailing. It really seems like the issue is localized to specific financial institutions they partner with.

Long. My experience was that the problem wasn't the documentation, but rather the time difference. I submitted everything late on a Friday, and the verification process stalled until Monday morning. I recommend submitting everything during standard business hours (CET) and giving them at least 3-5 working days. Don't panic and keep resubmitting, as that can reset the timer and make it worse. Also, ensure the name on the card matches the name on the ID exactly, down to the middle initial.

Contacting support via live chat was much better than email. They resolved my issue in under ten minutes. Just navigate to the help section and look for the chat option.

Reply to previous post (Author): @Author's Text. Have you checked if your account type is restricted? Sometimes if you've had a withdrawal blocked previously, they might hold up deposits until the issue is resolved first.

It's definitely a temporary thing. I posted about this last month and saw 20 people complaining. They announced a maintenance window and everything cleared up by the next day. Keep an eye on their official social media channels for announcements.

Try clearing your browser cache and cookies before attempting the deposit. Sometimes the browser itself holds onto old data that conflicts with the payment portal.

I found that using the dedicated mobile app instead of the desktop website bypassed the error entirely for me. It's worth a shot, even if you usually use the computer.

Reply to previous post (Author): @Author's Text. I think you need to call them. Email support is notoriously slow. Just be polite, explain the error code, and ask them what specific document they are missing. They should be able to tell you immediately.
