I've been using the Boylesports app for about three weeks now, and I love the interface and the workout plans. However, every time I finish a session and try to view my cumulative stats, the data seems incomplete or it just won't sync with my main profile. I've tried restarting my phone and even reinstalling the app, but the issue persists. Has anyone found a workaround for the sync problem, or is this a known bug that Boylesports needs to patch in an update? I'm really hoping this is just a minor glitch.

Me too. It seems like a known bug with the API endpoint for cumulative data.

I spent hours on this. I think the issue might be related to how the app handles offline data storage. When you finish a session, the raw data is saved locally, but if the internet connection drops even for a moment during the final sync handshake, the main profile never gets the full dataset. I recommend checking your phone's network settings to ensure a stable connection before logging off. Also, try syncing manually through the 'History' tab, rather than just closing the app.

Check your cloud storage quota.

Have you tried linking it through a third-party service like Apple HealthKit first? Sometimes forcing the data through a different gateway can kickstart the sync process and reveal where the blockage is happening. It's a bit of a workaround, but it worked for me last month.

Yeah, I had the same issue last week. It's definitely not just me. It feels like they released an update that broke the sync function, and they haven't patched it yet.

I'm so frustrated. I pay for this premium service specifically for reliable tracking, and if I can't trust the basic data sync, the entire app is useless. Boylesports needs to address this immediately. It's unacceptable for a fitness app in 2024.

Which operating system are you using?

I tried that, but it didn't help. The data still looked cut off, like it was missing the last 10 minutes of metrics. Maybe the issue is with the workout type itself? Did you use a specific module for the session?

Make sure the app has full background refresh permissions in your phone's settings. Sometimes the OS aggressively manages background data, and if it cuts off the sync process while you are moving, the data gets corrupted or truncated. This is a common phone-side issue, not necessarily an app bug.

My sync only works reliably if I log the workout in the app, but then immediately go into the settings and manually trigger a 'Force Sync' button that appears in the corner. If I just close the app, it fails about 50% of the time. It's a timing issue, I think.

Clear the app cache manually through your phone's settings. Don't just uninstall and reinstall; clear the cache first. That often fixes weird data persistence problems.

I think you should try waiting until the next major update. I saw a developer comment on their official forum saying they were aware of the sync glitch and expected a fix in the 3.1.2 patch. Patience is key here.

Be careful about linking it to other services until they confirm the sync bug is fixed. You don't want to pollute your data with incomplete stats from a broken system.

I found that if I complete my workout, I wait 15 minutes, and then open the app again, the data has synced itself without me doing anything. It seems to be a delayed background process, not an immediate failure.

Has anyone else noticed this? It seems like the sync only happens properly if the workout was done at a specific time of day, maybe when the servers are less busy?

Hopefully they patch it soon. We just want to track our progress without this constant headache.
