I've been trying to use the resource section on mrgreen com for my latest project, but I keep running into strange access errors. It seems like the site might have updated its backend recently, because the old links I saved are all broken. Has anyone else noticed this, or maybe figured out a workaround? I'm really hoping to get the detailed guides on sustainable building materials, as that's what I'm researching right now. Any advice on what I should try next would be greatly appreciated.

Me too. The resource section is completely locked down right now. It's frustrating.

I think they might be undergoing maintenance. I tried logging out and back in, but the access error persists. Maybe waiting until tomorrow will help?

Did you try clearing your browser cache and cookies? Sometimes those old data bits mess up site access, especially after a backend update.

I found a temporary workaround. If you search Google for 'mrgreen sustainable building guides PDF', sometimes the direct PDF links are still indexed and work around the broken resource page.

Is it just me, or is the guide on bamboo construction totally missing? I remember it being there last month.

I'm having the exact same issue. I'm using Chrome and Firefox, and both give me a 403 Forbidden error when I try to pull up the material specs. Any luck?

Reply to user_456: Yes, I tried that. It worked for the general guides, but the detailed material specs still seem restricted. It's definitely not just the search function.

Check if you need a specific membership level. Sometimes they gate premium content behind a paywall or registration requirement that isn't obvious.

I used a VPN and it seemed to bypass the geographical restriction that was giving me the error. Worth a shot if you think it might be location-based.

Reply to user_789: I think the VPN idea is good. I'm currently in a different time zone and the site was giving me strange access limitations before I switched my virtual location.

Have you checked if they have an official announcement on their social media? Sometimes site outages are posted there before the forum gets the word.

I'm really hoping for a fix. I need those guides on low-carbon concrete alternatives for a client presentation next week. This is a major roadblock.

Maybe try accessing the site using an incognito window. Sometimes browser extensions conflict with the site's scripts and cause errors.

I found a direct link to the 'Sustainable Insulation Materials' section via a cached Google page. It was a lifesaver. Keep trying those direct search methods.

Reply to user_123: I agree. It feels like they pulled the plug on the public resource section entirely. Maybe we should start compiling a list of the missing guides ourselves and share them here.

Just wait. They usually fix these things within 48 hours after a major update. Keep checking back.

If the site remains inaccessible, consider checking out the 'Green Build Quarterly' journal. They often reprint or summarize the detailed guides from Mr. Green's site.
