I finally got my hands on the Spintastic NV last week, and I'm really excited to start using it for my workouts. However, I'm running into some trouble getting the connectivity to stabilize. The manual suggests pairing it via Bluetooth 5.0, but it keeps dropping the signal every few minutes, which is making the whole experience frustrating. I've tried resetting the unit and updating the firmware using the recommended app, but the problem persists. Has anyone else noticed this intermittent connection issue, or is there a specific troubleshooting step I'm missing? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Mine too. It's super frustrating. I keep having to re-pair it every hour.

Did you try connecting it through a dedicated Bluetooth dongle instead of your phone's internal Bluetooth? Sometimes the phone's radio gets overloaded, especially if you have other smart devices running.

I had this exact issue last month. It turned out the problem wasn't the unit, but the specific model of smartphone I was using. I switched to an Android phone and the connection became rock solid. Check your phone's compatibility.

Check the distance. Are you using it in a large, concrete room? Walls and interference can really mess with the signal strength.

I think it might be a known bug with the current firmware version. Has anyone found a workaround or a patch release that addresses the stability? I've been on v2.1 and the drops are constant.

Reply to previous post: @User_Name, I actually had the same issue with the firmware update. I ended up rolling back to the previous stable version manually. That fixed it for me. You might need to check the manual's advanced settings for that option.

Just restart your router and your phone. Seriously, sometimes it's just a general network hiccup that affects Bluetooth too.

Long response: I spent an entire afternoon troubleshooting this. I realized the issue was related to the power source. If you are charging your phone while using the Spintastic NV, the power draw seems to be interfering with the Bluetooth stability. Try using the unit when your phone is fully charged and unplugged from any charger. It was a simple fix that nobody mentioned. Also, ensure your phone's operating system is completely up to date, as OS updates often contain Bluetooth stack improvements.

Mine drops when I sweat. Weird, but it happens.

Reply to previous post: @User_Name, the power source theory sounds plausible. I'll test that immediately. Thanks for the detailed advice!

Try pairing it with a different device entirely, like a tablet, just to isolate if the problem is specific to your phone's hardware or software stack.

It's the app. The app is demanding too much background processing and seems to be draining the Bluetooth connection resources. Try using a third-party workout tracker instead of the official Spintastic app for data logging.

Did you check for any physical obstructions? Sometimes even a thick belt or jacket can interfere with the signal, especially if the unit is clipped to your waist.

Reply to previous post: @User_Name, I also noticed that. I had to move the unit higher up on my body, near my core, to get a clearer signal path. Positioning really matters.

The unit itself might be faulty. If none of the software fixes work, you might need to contact Spintastic support and request an RMA or replacement unit. Don't hesitate to push for a hardware check.
