I've been trying to get the Rabona Aviator model running on my new PC build, and I'm hitting some major performance walls. The graphics look amazing, but the frame rate drops drastically whenever I enter complex weather zones or engage in combat. I've already updated all my drivers and checked the power settings, but it still feels choppy. Has anyone here managed to optimize this specific simulator for high-end gaming rigs? Any tips on adjusting in-game settings or maybe even suggesting specific GPU tweaks would be hugely appreciated. I really want to enjoy the full flight experience without constant stuttering.

Try lowering the draw distance first. That usually fixes the biggest FPS dips in complex environments.

I had the exact same issue. I found that switching the anti-aliasing method from TAA to FXAA made a massive difference without sacrificing too much visual quality. It's a simple in-game toggle, but it was a game changer for me.

Check your CPU usage, not just the GPU. Sometimes the flight model calculations are bottlenecking the CPU, especially during combat sequences. Monitor it with MSI Afterburner.

Totally agree. The weather system seems overly complex. Have you tried disabling the volumetric cloud rendering temporarily just to see if the frame rate stabilizes? It's a huge performance hog.

Hey, @OriginalPoster, did you check if there are any specific community-made configuration files or mods for performance? Sometimes the base game settings aren't optimized for modern hardware.

Short answer: Use a dedicated power supply unit (PSU) and ensure it's rated high enough for your GPU. Power limitations can cause throttling even if the PC seems powerful enough.

I think the issue might be related to your vertical sync settings. Sometimes forcing V-Sync off, even if you get screen tearing, can actually provide a more stable perceived frame rate than struggling with inconsistent sync.

Long response: When I first started with this simulator, I was overwhelmed by the settings. I ended up creating a custom profile. My biggest tip was to cap the frame rate slightly below your monitor's refresh rate (e.g., 85 FPS on a 100Hz monitor). This reduces GPU strain and often eliminates the stuttering that happens when the FPS spikes wildly. Also, make sure your background processes are completely closed. It really helps stabilize the experience.

Did you try running it in a windowed mode instead of full screen? Sometimes the display driver interaction causes weird performance hiccups.

Reply to @OriginalPoster: Regarding GPU tweaks, I found that setting the texture quality to High but keeping the resolution scaling at 90% was the sweet spot for me. It maintains visual fidelity while giving the GPU enough breathing room to handle the complex physics calculations without dropping frames during intense action.
