I'm planning a trip down to the area this weekend and I'm really looking forward to checking out the casino. Has anyone been in the last few months? I'm mainly concerned about parking, as I don't know the best spots or if there are any special rates. Also, I'm trying to decide if I should go during the weekday afternoon or on a Friday night. Any advice on the atmosphere or which games are worth checking out would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Parking is a nightmare. Seriously, get there early or be prepared to walk a bit. They have a paid lot, but it fills up fast.

I went last month, and I'd say weekday afternoons are much calmer. You can actually enjoy the atmosphere without the huge crowds and noise of a Friday night. Try the slot machines in the back corner, they are usually less busy.

Short and sweet: Go on a Tuesday. Best time. Avoid the weekend madness at all costs.

Regarding parking, I found that if you park in the municipal lot across the street, it's cheaper and you can walk over easily. Just be mindful of the time limits, though. Also, don't overlook the table games; the blackjack pit is surprisingly good if you know the basic strategy.

Totally agree about the parking being tough. Did you check the casino's website? Sometimes they list special rates or reserved spots if you book dining beforehand. It might save you some hassle.

I went Friday night and it was absolutely wild. The energy is high, but it's also overwhelming. If you want a good time, stick to the newer video poker machines; they have better payouts right now than the older slots.

Reply to the parking advice: The municipal lot is okay, but I found a slightly more expensive but much closer private lot that was actually easier to navigate. Worth the extra cash for convenience.

I recommend going mid-afternoon, maybe 2-4 PM. The vibe is relaxed, and the food options are great then too. It's a nice way to spend a couple of hours without the pressure of a full evening out.

If you're into craps, try the pit area near the main entrance. It's loud, but the action is always there. Just be prepared for a crowd, no matter what time you go.

I think the atmosphere depends on your goal. If you're just looking for a casual outing and maybe some dinner, weekday afternoon is perfect. If you're chasing big wins, Friday night is when everyone is there, so the energy is unmatched.

I found the buffet was surprisingly good for the price. It's a good way to kill time while you decide which games to try. Just wear comfortable shoes because you'll be walking a lot!

To jump in on the timing debate: Friday night is fun, but the crowds make parking impossible and the atmosphere gets stressful quickly. Weekday afternoon is much more manageable and less chaotic.

Just remember to check the local traffic reports before you leave. Parking can be unpredictable depending on local events or construction nearby. Have fun!
