My family and I are planning a trip to the Southpoint area next month, and we've heard great things about the entertainment options there. Specifically, we are trying to figure out the best way to spend a full day without getting overwhelmed. Has anyone been recently who can give us some advice? Should we focus on the indoor attractions, or are the outdoor areas better in the spring? We are looking for a mix of activities that appeal to both teenagers and younger kids, so any recommendations on specific venues or timing would be hugely appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help!

Definitely focus on the outdoor areas in the spring. The vibe is much better then.

We spent a whole day there last month. Start at the main plaza, grab lunch, and then hit the indoor arcade for the kids. The teens will enjoy the shops near the riverwalk.

Check out the Southpoint Riverwalk at sunset. It's magical.

I think you should plan for a mix. Maybe spend the morning at the interactive exhibits and the afternoon doing the outdoor mini-golf. It keeps everyone engaged.

Totally agree with the outdoor suggestion. The views of the Mississippi are unbeatable, regardless of the season. Bring a picnic!

The indoor attractions are great for a rainy day, but if the weather is nice, walking around the outdoor market area is a must. It's very walkable.

How about scheduling a specific time for the teens? They might get bored if you just wander aimlessly. Maybe a specific activity like a movie or a unique shop experience.

Couldn't agree more about the sunset. It's the highlight of the whole trip for us.

My advice is to buy a pass that covers multiple venues. It saves time and money, and you can move between activities without feeling rushed.

Did anyone find parking easy? That was my biggest worry for a full day visit.

The parking structure is actually quite large and easy to navigate. I recommend using the official Southpoint app for real-time guidance, it saved us a lot of stress.

Don't forget to check out the local restaurants. We found a fantastic spot for kid-friendly food that the teens actually liked too. It was a local gem near the main plaza.

We spent almost 8 hours and it felt like we saw everything! Wear comfortable shoes and plan for lots of walking. It's a big area.
